Answer your Prophet (Peace be upon him)

Answer your Prophet SAW

The Messenger of Allah SAW said: “Whoever cleans himself at home and then he walks to one of
the houses of Allah, in order to fulfil one of the obligations of Allah, for each step that he takes one sin is wiped away while for the other step he is elevated once.”[1]

He also says: “Whoever walks to the mosque and leaves from it, Allah prepares for him his abode in paradise every time he does so.”[2]

He also says: “The most of people in reward for Salaah is the furthest of them and the furthest of them in walking. And the one who waits for Salaah until he completes it with the Imam receives a greater reward than the one who performs it and then sleeps.”[3]
Sayyiduna Jareer RA reports: “I pledged allegiance to Rasoolullah SAW for the regular
establishment of Salaah.”[4]

Sayyiduna `Abdullah Ibn Mas`ood RA asked Rasoolullah SAW: “Which action is dearest to Allah?” He replied: “Salaah in its proper time.”[5]

The Messenger of Allah SAW also said: “There is no Muslim that is approached by a prescribed Salaah, and he takes ablution for it in the best manner, and he observes complete submission and performs its bowing down to the best of his ability, except that it will be an expiation for him, for all his sins before it as long as he did not commit a major sin. It is like this as long as he lives.”[6]

The last smile of the Holy Prophet SAW in this world, was his smile for Salaah; and this was when
he moved the veil covering his chamber on Monday, and he saw Sayyiduna Abu Bakr RA leading the congregation.

He always encourage for the dawn prayer and the night prayer, therefore he said: “Whoever performs the 2 garments will enter paradise.”[7]

He also said, when looking at the full moon: “Verily, you will see your Lord as you see this moon. You will not be confused in seeing Him. So if you are able not to miss a prayer before sunrise and
sunset, then carry it out. Then he recited (English translation, not the actual words!):

[And celebrate the praises of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before sunset.][1]

He also said: “The one who misses the afternoon prayer (`Asr), it is as if his family and wealth have been lost.” In another narration: “Whoever leaves out the afternoon prayer, all his actions are void.”[2]

Therefore, you, oh one who propagates, finds yourself between fear, as you are warned by your

Prophet SAW about the your actions being invalid; and between desire that makes you yearn for the palaces of paradise and seeing Allah in it; therefore, answer the call! Surely, this is a price that spurs one on and makes you ambitious, and it is something to safeguard before it is too late. And think well of Sayyiduna Al-Fudayl Ibn `Ayaad RA, as he presents a challenge and says: “Paradise has never been adorned for anyone like it has for this nation. And then you do not even see someone who strongly yearns for it.” A lover that goes out to perform the 2 garments, and therefore say to him: I am that person.”

If you find that as a burden for yourself or you are lazy, then address you inner being with the following soft words: Consider yourself as a military worker, or someone that works for a bakery, or a hunter or… Is it not necessary for you to wake up early and be there in front of your employer and general, to follow the military rules or to seek your sustenance perseveringly? Allah, The Most High, has more right for you to obey, and Salaatul Fajr is more worthy of you competing for it. By addressing yourself in a manner like this, you will be encouraged to perform Salaah in congregation if Allah wills, so that you find comfort and peace in your sleep.

If you are adamant in committing a sin or a mistake, then hasten to wipe it away by prostrating; as Nabi Dawood AS, when the two men went to him arguing about their ewes, he listened attentively and realized his mistake. Allah describes this act of his by saying: “And Dawood knew that We had but trialled him, therefore he sought forgiveness from his Lord, and he fell down in prostration and turned completely to Him. And We forgave him for that.”[3] Thus, he made his path in seeking forgiveness and prostration, teaching those who propagate to do likewise.
