Surah Al-Hujurat

This chapter of the Holy Qur'an starts off by educating us on the etiquette that we should observe with Allah, Most High, and with His Most Beloved Messenger ( Eternal blessings upon him and his family and companions). 1: [O you who believe! In the matters of the shari`ah do not go ahead of or take precedence before Allah and His Messenger and the Imams; and fear the punishment of Allah for such actions, and be careful of what you say or write about the shari`ah because Allah surely is All-Hearing and All-Knowing. Answer your Prophet SAW The Messenger of Allah SAW said: “Whoever cleans himself at home and then he walks to one of the houses of Allah, in order to fulfil one of the obligations of Allah, for each step that he takes one sin is wiped away while for the other step he is elevated once.” [1] He also says: “Whoever walks to the mosque and leaves from it, Allah prepares for him his abode in paradise every time he does so.” [2] He also says: “The most of people in reward for Salaah is the furthest of them and the furthest of them in walking. And the one who waits for Salaah until he completes it with the Imam receives a greater reward than the one who performs it and then sleeps.” [3] S ayyiduna Jareer RA reports: “I pledged allegiance to Rasoolullah SAW for the regular  establishment of Salaah.” [4] Sayyiduna `Abdullah Ibn Mas`ood RA asked Rasoolullah SAW: “Which action is dearest to Allah?” He replied: “Salaah in its proper time.” [5]
